Longwood High School Senior Inks National Letter Of Intent

Middle Island – Longwood High School senior Brielle Spillett will continue her bowling career at LIU Post this fall where she will major in Secondary Education Mathematics.

A six-year varsity bowler, Brielle was named All-County, All-League and finished up her senior year with a 195 bowling average.  Through her leadership qualities, she served as team captain and has been named Most Valuable Player.

Brielle is a member of the National Honor Society, Foreign Language Honor Society and has achieved High Honor Roll throughout high school.  Outside the classroom, she volunteers for Relay for Life, Safe Halloween, the Empire Games and fire department blood drives.

“Brielle has been a pleasure to coach during her six years on the girls’ varsity bowling team,” said Coach David Huey.  “Brielle is a great young woman who will be missed.”

The letter of intent is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and a Division I or II School.
