Queens Man Dies In Single-Car Crash On Rocky Point-Yaphank Road

Rocky Point – Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a single-car crash that killed a man in Rocky Point on Saturday morning.

Thomas Farley was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla northbound on Rocky Point Yaphank Road, north of Whiskey Road, when his vehicle crossed over the southbound lane and struck a tree at approximately 8 a.m.

Farley, 25, of Astoria, Queens, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
