20th Annual William Floyd Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament Raises $21,000 For Scholarships
Bellport – The William Floyd Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament sponsored by Century 21 Cor-Ace Realty and Ace Builders, Inc. was held at the Bellport Golf Club in late August to support student scholarships for deserving William Floyd graduating seniors. This year’s event raised approximately $21,000 in scholarships for members of the Class of 2017. In the past two decades since its inception, this tournament has raised more than $475,000 for William Floyd students.
“I am so grateful to the organizers, Anthony Alfano, Anthony Coraci, Anthony Liberti and our very own Board of Education Vice President Jeananne Dawson, for their commitment, kindness and generosity in raising student scholarships for our graduating seniors,” said Kevin M. Coster, Superintendent of Schools. “Their dedication to this event, which is a monumental undertaking year after year, has helped to make it easier for countless William Floyd students to pursue their dreams. The impact they have made is immeasurable.”
