19-Year-Old Shoreham Man Killed In Single-Car Crash Early Saturday Morning

Shoreham – Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a Shoreham man early Saturday morning.

A Seventh Precinct police officer observed a 2005 Suzuki overturned in the wooded median of northbound William Floyd Parkway, ½ mile north of Whiskey Road, Shoreham, at approximately 5:45 a.m.

The driver of the vehicle, Kevin Callejas, 19, of Shoreham, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
