William Floyd Physical Education Students Honored
Mastic Beach – Recently, several elementary and middle school students were honored at the NYS AHPERD (Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance) Suffolk Zone Award ceremony for being outstanding physical education students.
Students were selected for showing exceptional leadership, sportsmanship, responsibility and respect toward others in the classroom. The following students were honored: Lilly Savnik and Nicolas Tarry from Moriches Elementary School; Taylor Pizzutti and Conner Taphouse from Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School; Kyle Collins and Emma Stoia from Tangier Smith Elementary School; and Catherine Cruz, Lailah Espinal, Jake Steinbach and Thomas Verga from William Paca Middle School.
