Councilwoman Bonner Attends Gold Award Ceremony For Girl Scouts Service Unit 54 From Rocky Point

Shoreham – On June 14, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the Girl Scouts Service Unit #54 Gold Award ceremony at the North Shore Public Library in Shoreham.

At the ceremony, Councilwoman Bonner presented a Certificate of Congratulations to Gold Award recipient Skylar Intravaia from Rocky Point.

The Gold Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout can achieve. This prestigious award requires an Ambassador Girl Scout to design and implement a project that serves her community. It must consist of at least eighty hours of service while making a sustainable impact.

Skylar is a real inspiration to her peers and I congratulate her for earning the Gold Award,” said Councilwoman Bonner.She is a leader of tomorrow who strives every day to set a good example of what it means to be a Girl Scout.”
