North Brookhaven Chamber Of Commerce Awards Scholarships

Port Jefferson Station – On Monday, June 20th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker honored the recipients of the 2016 North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce scholarship awards at The Meadow Club in Port Jefferson Station. The Chamber of Commerce strives to strengthen and improve the welfare of its members as well as the entire community, and was happy to award the scholarships to high achieving and dedicated students.
“It is incredible that these students are excelling at such a young age,” said Legislator Anker. “It is important students realize that hard work and determination are necessary to reach your goals, as these scholars do. I am proud to honor each and every one of them and look forward to seeing their future accomplishments.”
The students who were awarded scholarships include Lauren Short from Comsewogue, Alexis Duffy from Rocky Point, Ashley Reynolds from Miller Place, Patrick Biemer from Shoreham Wading River, and Leon Paul from Mount Sinai.
