Police Are Asking For Assistance Identifying And Locating Port Jeff Station Bank Robbery Suspect

Port Jefferson Station – Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a Port Jefferson Station bank earlier this year.
A man entered TD Bank, located 86 Nesconset Highway, at approximately 2:15 p.m. on June 30 and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the man’s demands and he fled the scene on foot.
The man was described as white, in his 30s, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build, short brown hair and a goatee. He was wearing a long-sleeved flannel shirt, jeans, dark-colored shoes, baseball hat and sunglasses.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
