Stony Brook Football Vaults Into The 25 In All Three National FCS Polls
Stony Brook – After Stony Brook football’s historic 42-14 victory over second-ranked Richmond this past weekend, the Seawolves have been rewarded by breaking in to the top 25 in all three national FCS polls that were released on Monday.
The Seawolves (2-1, 1-0 CAA Football) sit 18th in the HERO Sports poll, 20th in the STATS poll and are 24th in the FCS coaches poll. The ranking is the first for the Stony Brook program since the third week of the 2013 season.
In addition to the win over the Spiders, Stony Brook opened the season with a 13-9 win over then-19th-ranked North Dakota on September 1.
