Brookhaven Councilman Dan Panico, Town Board Members Recognize Eastport Green Project For Community Service

Farmingville – Brookhaven Councilman Dan Panico was joined by Supervisor Ed Romaine and their colleagues on the Town Board in paying special tribute to the volunteer members of the Eastport Green Project recognizing their dedication and commitment to beautifying the hamlet of Eastport.

The group was presented with a Town of Brookhaven proclamation for their efforts in the establishment of the Roots Community Garden located on the grounds of the Eastport Athletic Complex, the installation of planters and landscaping in the downtown business district of Eastport and the collection of almost 500 pounds of litter.

The Eastport Green Project was founded by Eastport residents Heather Spagnoli and Stephanie Turano.
