Revved Up For A Cure Classics To Exotics Car Show Benefiting Stony Brook University Cancer Center

Roll down your windows, turn up your stereo, and cruise to Stony Brook University Cancer Center for the Revved Up For a Cure Classics to Exotics Car Show on Sunday, July 31, from 10am to 3pm. Ralph Macchio will be ‘in the driver’s seat’ as celebrity host and judge, and 
participants will have the opportunity for a once-in-a-lifetime photo op with the “Karate Kid” himself next to the ’47 Ford Convertible Coupe from the movie.
The proceeds from this souped-up event will benefit men’s cancer programs and services at Stony Brook University Cancer Center. Men spend a lot of time tuning up their vehicles but neglect to ‘lift the hood’ and do the same for their own bodies. Free health screenings will be available at the event to give drivers and passengers their own “Healthy Tune-Up,” including:
- Prostate Screening Blood Test (PSA)
- Cholesterol Screening
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Carotid Screening
- Bone Marrow Registry

There will be food for purchase from Stone Soupe and musical entertainment by Shockwave Band NY. Entry is $20 per vehicle for those entering classic cars. To check out all the sweet rides, admission tickets are only $5.
